Check an authoritative visibility map for your exact location rather than relying on a social post or a generic countdown.
Protect your eyes
For every direct view during the partial and annular phases, use undamaged eclipse glasses or a handheld viewer that meets ISO 12312-2. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe.
Keep a cloud plan
Save the journey, weather source, and cancellation terms before travelling for a view that weather may hide.
