What is worth keeping
Anything with a date, anything with names, and anything a solicitor sent. Deeds, wage books, diaries, and photographs of buildings rather than people.
What happens to it
Photographed and returned within a fortnight, or deposited at the record office in your name if you would rather not keep it.
What it costs you
Nothing, and no obligation. Several people have shown me something and then decided to keep it private, which is entirely their right.
