Fourteen thousand two hundred in, nine thousand eight hundred out

Readers fund this and are entitled to see the arithmetic. Both figures are below in full, including the things I would rather not have spent money on.

Where it came from

Twelve thousand from readers, eighteen hundred from two talks, and four hundred from a book. No advertising and no sponsorship.

Where it went

Four thousand on travel, two thousand two hundred on photography, and the rest on hosting, software, and an accountant.

What I would change

The photography spend was too high for what it produced. Two commissions did not work and that money is simply gone.
