### We removed the deposit and it cost us two tools in three years

The deposit excluded the people who most needed the scheme and prevented very little. Removing it cost about eighty pounds and roughly tripled membership.

#### What is available

Ninety tools, mostly the expensive occasional ones. Tile cutters, SDS drills, wallpaper steamers, and a scaffold tower.

#### What it costs

Three pounds a week per tool and four pounds a year to join. The joining fee is waived on request with no questions.

#### The deposit

There is not one. It was removed in 2022, two tools have not come back since, and membership has gone from forty to a hundred and sixty.
