Guide

### The same pressure and the same speed, every single pull

Screen printing is not difficult and is extremely unforgiving of inconsistency. Two prints pulled at different speeds look like two different colours.

#### The pull

One smooth stroke at about forty-five degrees, steady speed, firm even pressure. Stopping midway leaves a visible line that cannot be fixed.

#### The flood

A light pass to fill the mesh before each print. Missing it is why the second print in a run is always weaker than the first.

#### Registration

Tape the paper position rather than eyeballing it. Two-colour prints live or die on this and it takes five minutes to set up.
