Survey results

### Too long, too infrequent, and too many photographs of gates

Four hundred and eleven replies. The three most common criticisms are above, and one of them is a fair point I had not noticed.

#### Too long

Sixty-one percent said so. The median piece is about three thousand words and will be nearer two from January.

#### Too many gates

Forty-one people mentioned it independently, which is a remarkable result and entirely fair. I had not noticed and now cannot stop noticing.

#### What people liked

The corrections and the failures, consistently and by a wide margin. That was the most useful finding in the whole survey.
