Unredeemed gift cards are a significant revenue line for many retailers. Ours never expire and we send an annual reminder, which is the opposite approach.

#### No expiry

None, ever. Not five years, not ten. The balance sits there until it is spent or you ask us to refund it.

#### The annual reminder

Once a year we email whoever holds an unspent balance. It is a strange thing to do commercially and it is the right thing.

#### Refunds

Unspent balances can be refunded to the original purchaser at any time. Most retailers do not allow this and we do.
