### No audition, no test, and nobody has ever been asked to leave

Choirs say no audition and then hold voice placements. There is nothing of the kind here; you turn up, somebody points at a section, and you sing.

#### Joining

Turn up on a Tuesday. Somebody will suggest a section based on where you are comfortable, and you can move if it is wrong.

#### Reading music

Not required. Parts are taught by ear and recordings are sent out. About a third of the choir cannot read a note.

#### The commitment

Tuesdays in term time and two concerts a year. Missing weeks is fine and nobody is dropped for it.
