Fabric appeal

### The roof, and the building belongs to the village rather than the congregation

The regular congregation is about twenty-two people. The building is the oldest thing in the parish and the appeal is addressed to everybody, believers or not.

#### What needs doing

The nave roof, which is failing at the north side. Water is reaching the wall plate and the timbers date from about 1480.

#### What it costs

A hundred and forty thousand, of which sixty is committed from two grant bodies. The remaining eighty has to come locally.

#### Who it is for

Anybody who thinks the building should still be here in fifty years. That includes a great many people who never go inside it.
