Blind spots

### Four subjects this does not cover, two by choice and two by inability

Knowing what a publication ignores matters as much as knowing what it covers. Two of these are deliberate omissions and two are things I am simply not equipped for.

#### Deliberate

Current planning disputes, and anything involving living residents' private lives. Both are covered better elsewhere or should not be covered at all.

#### Not equipped

Archaeology before about 1200, and anything requiring Latin beyond the formulaic. Both are real gaps and both distort what gets written.

#### What follows

About four centuries and one field boundary type get more attention than they deserve, purely because I can read the sources for them.
