It was going to be the September issue. Reading it back, the central claim rests on one source that I cannot corroborate, and everything else depends on it.

#### What it argued

That the parish boundary moved in the seventeenth century, on the basis of a single perambulation record.

#### Why it fails

The record exists and I cannot verify it against anything. Four other perambulations from the same period contradict it and I cannot explain that.

#### What happens to it

The notes are deposited with the archive so that somebody better than me can look. The draft is not published.
